I always did find it amazing when every noble in Kirkwall sees Hawke kill the Arishok with magic, and none of them even care. In fact, they name her the Champion for it
Anyway, amazing drawing, the details are great and I love her expression

I would srsly like to see a tutorial how to make that fluent transition from rough sketch (legs/weapon/shape of your champion) to detailed/shaded/omgwtflolbbqcuteawesomesauce face.
Step by step, like guide for dummies... my sketching takes shorter and shorter every day but as soon as I start to try to shade it or just make it look good it takes on forever.....

love the dark painting, and the bloody slash is very striking.
Also yeah, they're pretty apathetic. But really force mages seem a lot more dangerous, cause you know, they can control gravity.

It seems that i was also exempt from the normal rules of society even back when i was a dog lord ferelden doing freelance killing to save up for road trip to the deep roads....
like the blood magic tree isn't really at all that useful but i just use it for the sheer irony if the situation

do you by any chance how a small step-by-step of this?
I'd like to understand how to draw with the empty lines (the sand color one that is) by erasing off a blocked out shape.

i couldn't find a good imagehost but here [link]
i lost the initial first rough lineart sketch cause i saved over it but basically after the rough sketch which is quite super rough, i block it in in black while still being rough. Doesn't matter if its like out of shape cause you use the eraser to chip away and mould it into the correct shape later. Then i put neater rough lineart over the black shapes for guidelines and then begin to paint over and render it. Its all done on one layer and i use the same process for the face as well.
