mull before digital did you you used to paint in oils /acrylics much? your style of work looks very traditional brush stroke wise.

hiya mate, yeah I'm old school lol.
Went to art college before the home PC was even thought about, nevermind 'digital art' being mainstream. Cutting edge back then was the 'airbrush' and fantasy, sci-fi art was frowned upon, it was all fine art and the 'Old Masters'.
And before you ask, no I'm not 127 years old lol

Aye, when I was at college it was all ink and brush work, the digital stuff was kept for the select few. Still, important I reckon, its good to learn with traditional matters, teaches you patience.

keeping a foot in the traditional methods and media can only help reinforce your digital skills, plus even in todays digital empowerment traditional skills are rewarded higher than its digital counterparts (or I think so lol)
