I lve the way you draw the feathers!!!!! I also have a harpy character!!! Any tips on making the feathers look better????? (You are also right-handed, right????? I see, just like me, you draw the left feathers' inner sides more easily than the right ones'!! The same thing happens to me while drawing hair! The clockwise is easier than the counter clockwise!

I have no idea to be honest.
I searched through google on how people draw feathers. Depends on how much details you want to put in one or going for the overalls.
Wow, you can tell that from the picture? O.o' Cool.

I looked around my garden for various feathers (owls, doves, crows,...whatever I could find! Haha!) and there are SO many different types!! Other more pointy, other more roundish at the edges,... I guess I just need to search on google for the specific eagle type feathers I've added on this character! That's a good way to start, I guess...

Yup! Haha! It's about which side of the brain is dominant! When you are right-handed, it's easier for the eyes to find the right angles clockwise while for the left-handed it's the other way around! Notice that it's easier for your left hand to (kind of) mimic the movements of the right hand as mirrored (counter clockwise)! The same way, everything on each side of the body from top to toes is a (almost) perfect mirrored version of the opposite side! It's a mind-blowing fact if you think about it! The whole body is a loop! Haha!!

Ah that's cool, you even have some lucky feathers to check out around the garden. Indeed! Each bird has unique feathers.
O.o.....watch out for bird flus though. 

Human body is one wicked cool and complex thing. XD

I especially like the feathers of crows! They are black and iridescent green under the light!!! I used them as reference for a character's decorative feathers! True! Hahahahahaha!!!!

If you try to think of all this, it's like trying to count how much is the infinity! O.o It makes you think like, "Never mind! I'll think about it later!" XD
