So about 2 Years ago, The Ink Tank posted a video exploring the idea of what if Venom from Marvel comics was in the franchise of Ben 10. It was an interesting video with fun ideas and it will be one of my favorite Video discussions on YouTube and of the Ink Tank.

But more importantly what would come out of that video would Ben a new transformation feature for 5YL Ben, that being the Parasite playlist and well as a new Symbiote form too. For those of you who might not know what the parasite Playlist is I will explain, the parasite playlist is a transformation feature that allows this version of Ben to take one of many other parasitic aliens in the Omnitrix (like the symbiote) and use it to enhance his other more normal forms.

For example Ben could take the symbiote transformation and attach it to an alien like Fourarms and make him into an enhanced venomised like version of Fourarms. While Ben can turn into a symbiote form himself and take over enemies or bond with ally’s in a fight, the parasite function allows for an advantage in combat, especially with all the extra powers a symbiote enhanced form can bring.

now when I first heard of this new function I disliked it at first because I thought it didn’t align with the Omnitrix’s main purpose of understanding other races through becoming them. It also reminded me of the Omni enhanced forms from the reboot which I am not also a fan of. But as I thought it over I realized a possible reason for this function. The Omnitrix in itself is a way to allow one to understand another being by becoming said beings, so the parasite function must be a way for those to understand what it’s like hosting those parasite and to understand what cohabiting with them is like. in other words it put’s Ben in Eddy Brock’s shoes. Which aligns with the watches main purpose of understanding. So then I quickly liked the idea of a parasite playlist.

So then it inspired me to create some symbiote bonded aliens of my own interpretation, and I am starting out with this one, which to be honest is probably my most favorite of the ones I have made. This one being the symbiote bonded to the planetoid alien Gravattack, and I have to admit, I absolutely love how this guy came out! The parts I love about him the most is his big monstrous grin and those toothy mouth things on his shoulders with the tongues sticking out of them.

Since venom has always this big grin on his face with those sharp teeth of his and Gravattack having a grin similar to that I knew it would be a great idea to merge those two things together and the result was pretty wicked. For the mouths on his shoulders, I don’t remember where I got the idea for those from but I thought they would look good regardless, and I was right. They also contribute to a new power a gave for this symbiote bonded form which I will tell you guys in a second.

Other design aspects are the stalagmite/spikes that protrude from his body, this comes from the fact that most symbiotes make their hosts a lot more spikier and Gravattack always has those mounds on his body that sort of resemble mountain ranges. So when he curls up into his planet form those spikes sort of give him some extra defense.

His core now has these teeth around it for when he goes into battle these teeth can grow around his core and completely cover it for extra defense.

Now for his power set, his previous strength and durability would be upgraded with the symbiote attaching itself to him, as well as having some of the other abilities that come with the symbiote like sprouting tendrils/tentacles as well as spikes, fanged mouths and other weapons. It would also increase his size and mass overall too which would strengthen his gravitational powers like his orbital pull.

another power I came up with is that when he goes into his planet form he is able to use his gravitational pull to attract other things like big rocks and other inorganic material to his mouth and then start chomping down on it and just eat it. Then when he swallows the materials the symbiote would use its webbing to wrap and glue the stuff together into big round dense clumps that it would then spit out of those mouths on his shoulders and use them as moons like how his ultimate form has and make his own little solar system to help increase his gravitational abilities. Or he can just spin them around with his orbit at high speeds and launch them at other stuff like cannonballs.

For the name of this form, I was thinking of something like Orbite. Which is the combination of the two Words Orbit which Gravattack has and Bite which references how this form bites down on other stuff when eating.

so that’s my take on a symbiote enhanced Gravattack. I hope you all like this!
