I've always liked the character and felt he was way underused, so I've got a few pages of story to get out. Hope you like it, as always please, feel free to tear it up, I get better when you guys do that.-ThanksRelated content

I just wish the pencils were darkened in photoshop a little, kinda hard to see. Looks awesome though!

Watch out for those crossword puzzle looking windows...Gary Martin sugggests in his book to "leave the lights on" in horizontal rows for a more realistic look

These are realy, really tight pencils! Love the pose and MAN I like the background. The buildings look very realistic ... U got yourself a fan!

I think you nailed the background. I think you have great forshortening. The only things I can pick out here is that the 'comin' atcha' hand should almost be a bit bigger. It is almost the same size as his other hand, and if he's reaching towards us, it'll appear bigger.
And I have an issue with the foot over his left shoulder. It is a little wonky, and seems disconnected to the rest of the body.
There are two ways I would work with this. Put in a bit of the left leg, under the torso, and bend it back so that we understand how that foot is going back there like that.
OR, I would actually draw the left leg flying straight back and push it back into the cloud. This would give the figure alot of motion and direction, and he would appear to be leaping as well.

wow man, I'm just replying to all your killer critiques. It's SOOO awesome to have a guy who can take the time to look over your work and just help. So I really appreciate it. The early x-men stuff was a while ago, my latest was the night crawler. I can barely look at some stuff I do, and I almost hate the stuff I do, the second I finish it. So I appreciate the crit's. I'll work on the aspects you spoke on. Your stuff is awesome as well. I'm gonna look over your whole gallery now. Thanks again, keep watching i'll shape up soon.

The foreshortening on the shoulder is a little wiggy, which is a minor anatomical point. I just feel there's so much foreshortening with the coming right atcha action it's not a pose I would use, but, that's a matter of taste. Put some tracing paper over the near hand and try to get the fingers flexed more naturally. The only big issue is the explosion cloud. It's sort of plasticy and not cloudy. Hope this helps.
