this is my FIRST EVER try at digital painting....found this video about a dude doing it on youtube (painting that is hehe), and thought let's try that.
....found out during the video that i have no clue about some of the stuff he does, so kinda had to improvise there.

I really like the lighting effects, especially on the chest. The wing looks a little high up on the neck, but then again, I'm no expert on anatomy. XD And dragons are up to the artist to create.

Yeah, it's an interesting way of drawing! Actually learned tons of stuff watching it. Only problem is, that was kinda first-ish time i ever opened photoshop, so lotsa the stuff he did i couldn't guess....and it was too fast and small in the vid to see.

his name's cris Scalf or crisscalf as it appears on his site.
I admire his work myself.
one comment that I can give you on this piece is that the dragons eyes don't feel right.
the way his pupil is staring basicaly at the viewer instead of focussing on the thing he's breathing fire on.
maybe suggesting a pupil in the near bottom of his eyelid or taking the pupil away would make him look a little more menacing.
but stil great good work for a first try.

..and yeah, i think that was his name. Just fell over a video on youtube and thought "let's give it a bash".
