Niceee... Arabians brought so many good things to the primitive Europeans back in the 8-9th century AD during the Emirate of Córdoba establishment.
They even taught us how to eat 3 meals a day and taught the men to wear perfume and how to cut their nails.
History is full of surprising facts like this which are not learned in school unfortunately.

Exactly! This is mainly because history is always written by the winners. Same thing happened in my country after the communists took over in 1947. They have rewritten the history books and became the heroes for saving us from the nasty monarchy. And as you can imagine life wasn't that great under the communist regime and now we still have the same old communists leading the country. All because we never knew our real history and who and what these people really did!
Sorry about hijacking your topic but I just hate the world we live in today! We should be all celebrating life as a specie who's part of something bigger... we are just tiny specs of dust in this almost infinite universe and we still act like we know everything and the rest are just stupid and they should just shut up.
And I can't really complain about my life in Romania which is still a European country, but there are so many people who don't stand a chance to even live up to their 30's and it's not their fault for being born in a bad place at the wrong time... And the worst thing is that there's almost nothing we can do about it
