i dont think i was ever able to make a mermay entry...so its a good thing to start now. I cant do this everyday tho plus im already semi late, i'll just occasionally draw mermaid related stuff during this month if i can

Jumping on themed art is always fun! I like this picture a lot, despite not being massively interested in merpeople. Cool (and creepy) idea, and well painted. Both characters look good (the webbed hands are a great touch), and the background adds a lot to the atmosphere. I love the glittery green colouring on the merman, and the way you've painted the water running into the drain; so simple, yet it looks very realistic.
Think this would make for an interesting story, too...
