Description This picture might seem ridiculous cheesy or overpatriotic if not viewed in the context I mean, so I'll explain. It is not, contrary to what it seems, an idealized vision of a clean-cut, semi-diverse generation of Americans.

Notice the girl in the middle: She's not moving her lips, and her eyes aren't even on the flag. She's smiling vaguely; she knows what she's doing. Then, in the back row, is another little rebel, the Japanese-looking (or, at least, he's supposed to be) boy in the dark sweater, who's looking at her rather than at the flag.

It's supposed to be a depiction of a screenplay I wrote (I'd post it, but I don't think we can post screenplays)-- which itself was based off the story I'm writing (which isn't posted here, so don't go looking for it!). Basically, all that you need to know, to sum up the picture, is: It's right before WWII, the girl in the front row is a bit of a rebel, and the Japanese boy has a bit of a crush on her. If you know anything about history, you can probably guess there are some issues to follow.

Things I like: The perspective turned out decently.

Things I don't like: Oops. I forgot the desks. Um . . . just pretend they're in an assembly or something (Actually . . . I didn't forget . . . I just didn't trust myself to draw six identical desks . . . ).

Heh, dazed rebellion.

The girl does look rather high, or something. Maybe she's a two-decades-too-early hippi or something . . . or just tired, seeing as how it's probably first thing in the morning.
