Personality: Pink Layered Cake Agate is a dedicated gem to both his superiors and his work. He's a perfectionist and will do everything himself if you don't stop him. He is a bit cynical and blunt. His loyalty, trust, and respect must be earned; otherwise, he refuses to be associated with you. Agate is passionate about his work, reliable and dependable. Not one to show his emotions readily, he's quick to hide sadness or worry with a smirk and biting remarks.

The deeper layer (ha, get it?) to Pink Agate is that he doubts himself. Is anything he does ever really good enough? He's frustrated because he feels that there are so many gems that lack dignity, respect and the drive to do or be something better. PLC wants to help and interact with others, but he doesn't know how to do that without scaring them off with his callous exterior. If someone were kind enough to give him a second glance and follow through, he'd have decent social skills.

Gem Location: collar bone

Gem Weapon: An icing bag mostly used to decorate pastries, but can act as a sticky sweet trap to get out of a bad situation. It usually wears off when Pink is already far out of sight/range. The icing can also be crystallized into weapons if necessary.

Strengths:

Leadership: When it comes to taking charge of a difficult situation, Agate is the gem to talk to. He will make sure that the team gets through whatever problem if it means he's doing his job.

Commitment: There are few gems as loyal as Pink Agate is. If there's a task that needs to be done, he will do it and then some. As a perfectionist, he won't stop until its perfect. Even if it takes a physical toll, it's worth it if his work gets approval.

Focus/Memory: Concerning baking, Agate gets into a lazer-focus zone. He gets so much work done and quickly as well. Usually he takes his time when it comes to cooking other dishes, but since sweets are his specialty, he knows a grand amount of recipies by heart.

Weaknesses:

Sharing work: Being who he is, Agate usually takes the brunt of the work if you let him. It's unhealthy, but he claims that it's calming knowing that a good amount of the work will be done right since he's doing it. Those gems that actually want to participate in group projects with him in it are truly out of luck. When in this state, he'll listen to your input, but would rarely impliment them into the project.

Social ineptitude: Coming off as a hardass and someone hard to talk to, most gems leave Agate alone. Since he's not equiped for social interaction on a personal level, he makes little to no friends. This bothers him, but he'd be the last to admit it.

Stubborn: If you so much as break his concentration even little bit, he won't be able to continue until the gem apologises and is out of the room. Once Agate fixates onto something, as dangerous or impossible as it may be, there's no swaying his decision. He has to snap out of it on his own. There's almost no chance that you would win an argument with Agate, he's that stubborn. If you manage to prove him wrong without being boastful, you'd earn his respect, which isn't easy to come by.
