watch out I'm a killer I'm like a bear hugger, I see this in a lot of Gardevoir photo rolls, and this is true platinum material. I know you're not a pervert so you don't have to tell me, I love the fact that you happen to create a pose that looks seductive, but as my old bear hugginness tells me sometimes. Well then. There are quite a lot of things to critique this about. Most of which are good, some are bad, but overall, this is a VERY good drawing of one of the most sexually imaged pokemon. The whole concept is not very original, but the way you drew it IS. I haven't seen much drawings of Gardevoir like this one. Giving this 17 out of 20 might be a bit over rating, but this is a very seductive, very sexy Gardevoir. There may be a lot of Gardevoir pictures depicting it better than this, but this is a quite original pose. Overall, this is a very good picture and deserves to be in my favorites. I'll explain to you since you don't seem to understand. (Which is completely fine.)
The Mega Blastoise image is something called a "gijinka"; a gijinka is a humanized version of an animal. Pokemon are the most common types of animals to humanize, along with game and anime characters, such as Amaterasu from Okami.
The particular gijinka was made with humorous intent, and was not meant to be taken seriously; I got a good chuckle out of it and liked it. The Gardevoir is not a gijinka; it is still a pokemon, not at all humanized, and was drawn in a way to be fetishistic and titillating.
One is funny; the other is gross.

No, the Gardevoir wasn't necessarily made to be "fetishistic and titillating". I don't see how one can believe one is humorous and the other is "gross". I think that the image was well executed and is fairly cute. Β More than anything, I'm upset by the fact that the "critique" you gave, wasn't a critique in any sense. A critique is supposed to comment on the artists execution of an image. The coloring and the shading, how clean the lines are, and things like that. Yes, personal opinion of the contents of the image do play into a critique, but it is not all that a proper critique should contain.

Very unoriginal idea, but executed well. The drawing technique is very good, and the angle at which you have drawn Gardevoir is the picture is very well done. I am personally not a fan of anthropomorphic Pokemon being made to look attractive, but to be fair, looking at this image, you've done a good job ruining my childhood (well, not really, seeing as I grew up with generation II) while simultaneously doing the job this picture is supposed to do!

My childhood was ruined the first time I saw one. A few years back, I was looking up pokemon to use for a walkthrough of emerald I was doing at the time. When I went on google images to see the pokemon, I typed in 'gardevoir'. One thing the came up on the results was 'gardevoir sexy'. I thought to myself, 'okay... bit weird but at least it won't come up if I only write gardevoir'.
