Well, apparently that 'amazing' thing made quite a mess it seems. Oh, well, he doesn't seem to care, since he's not the one who'll have to clean it up. Great work once again! I like how he's more, I guess you can say rugged in this. I agree with Sabrina on the bottle too. It does remind me of the Gummi Bears.

The poor guy looks like he had a little trouble with his chemistry set. Did I sound like Ratigan just now? Oh, well! This is a wonderful sketch! Basil looks really great here in his disheveled clothes and fur. The bottle kind of reminds me of something you'd see in a cartoon, like a mystery drink that offers magical powers... Gummi Berry Juice! Okay, I'm just bored now!

Heheh! I was trying for a realistically-cartoony bottle And as for Basil, I don't think he minds getting a few little patches of fur burnt off if the ultimate result is *muah* - whatever-is-in-that-bottle. :3

I agree. Being a chemist, I imagine his poor self having many burnt spots on clothing, singed fur, and discolorations on his fingers. It's seeing sketches like these that make me long for an animated series with him.

Oh, yes! I found loads of GMD comics with many funny stories. I'm trying to translate them all to English so that American-speaking fans can also enjoy them! If you ever get the time to do it, I'd love to see a comic come from you!

Thank you! I'm almost done with a Dutch comic, one page left to translate, but then I'd like to take it all to a girl who speaks the language to check it for me. I love the comics for one main reason: we get to see some more cases with Basil than just the movie!
