"The closer we get..."

Originally this was going to be a pic of Emil crying in a corner during his addiction days but since the actual song BREAKDOWN ends on a slightly hopeful note I decided to draw Three... about to avenge her master. Yup, eventually in the story (and I mean way into this epic I have planned) Three feels the gruesome death of her beloved master Windu. And after willing his saber back to her she has a vision of who is responsible for his death - none other than Anakin. What makes this so painful is that Three helped Obi-Wan raise Anakin alongside their own children and all the other younglings he killed. Afterwards Obi-Wan is unable to stop her from seeking out Anakin but I'm thinking in the end she can't kill him - she considers him one of her babies. In the end she's a healer - not just any healer: The Giver of Life. But that's a very long story.

The song BREAKDOWN is of course by Prince and is on 'Art Official Age' - this scene was inspired by my own breakdown over his death. As soon as I heard it I had a very uncontrollable ugly cry - the song is basically about the regrets he had in life during his youth and he just sounds so freakin sad - I couldn't keep it together. Oddly enough it made me feel a lot better afterwards. I can't find a youtube of the song - all of them have been muted or taken down. Effing WB... I recommend buying Art Official Age anyway - it's a great album.
