Yo! What's this? WHO is this? Why it's none other than my resident witch Genesis. I felt as though she hasn't gotten as much love as the other cast members - and that's mostly because I've been juggling her design ever since I decided to bring RED back into production. Some early sketches saw her with a bit of a sporty-hiphop style. And then the latest ones I did she had Del-like curly hair. Well I'm not sure what finally clicked but I decided to go back - WAY WAAAAYYY back to when she was a 'magical girl' under RED original title of 'Element Warriors'. Back then Genesis had the power of Light and cast it using something I called a 'Heaven Bow'. I still might make her an archer in some form.

Anyway when Element Warriors ceased to be a 'magical-girl-manga' about vampires and became a RED Genesis lost most of her powers and apparently her ethnicity. In my old, ugly first run of RED Genesis is suddenly Black... and the only explanation I have is that I used my BFF neogenesis to fill in parts of her personality and upgrade her looks - they both used to have the same hair cut. So I went back to the original and made her Japanese again. Which works out because she hasn't made an appearance in the new comic yet. I recorded myself drawing this so I'll explain more of her development in the video. I'll also explain what a 'night witch' is just incase it's not self explanatory. Unfortunately I have two other videos scheduled ahead of it so it'll be on my channel July 27th.
