Kurt won the poll! I mean I only gave it a day but he won and I drew him so here he is. Don't ask me to explain it but I absolutely love everything about Kurt. He's just such a sweetheart compared to the other jerkasses he hangs out with. He's so pure not even a magical sword made of souls can corrupt him. Not to mention his actual design is awesome - even the confusing parts of him like his feet (seriously what is going on with his feet? who came up with those?) Forget 'cute little fangs' Kurt has big-ass fangs and they just suit him so well. I just love him to pieces... hopefully Nick Spencer doesn't ruin him like he's doing everyone else.Kurt Wagner belongs to Marvel... but I'm making plans to steal him

No - AoA is just short for Age of Apocalypse. AoA Kurt came to Earth 616 after the original Kurt died. But then he ended up dying and regular Kurt came back to life. AoA is just another Marvel alternate universe. I think the new movies (first class, days of future past, etc) are based in that universe.

Tell me about it. I've spent months trying to make sense of the flow of time and events in marvel comics. Seriously I think in one instance Logan was in two places at the same time.
The movies are okay. I just wish they'd make Kurt the confident badass he really is in the movies. He's always that 'beaten dog' version of himself from his late teens to early 20's.

Yeah haha and the movies were no help really. Especially Apocolypse film, I'm glad Kurt's there but he's not really developed. They didn't even tell if he was Mystique's child???? It was kind of awful....

Having him there and not knowing she was his mom just like in X2 had me rolling my eyes. I mean it's possible seeing how about 20 years has passed between the two movies but I guess explaining his lineage would take too much time away from cutesie 80's Jean and Scott. But then again most people already know their history so maybe that's why they don't bother in the movies.

Kurt is my favorite X-Man. I love the how he is designed, but I love his personality and character even more.
His look was created by David Cockrum, a Marvel comic book artist. His feet were designed to be like a birds, with two toes in front and one reversed so he could grip with his feet.
