Description
This is a self-portrait I did emulating artist Chuck Close's style. It took an insanely long time, but turned out pretty successful in the end! I used at least 3 colors in each box. I also included the process which was important as it motivated me to keep going! It isn't the nicest, most straight on picture of the original which was 22"x30", but you get the idea.Related content

This is totally insane, you're extremely patient I take it? I love it though. The eyes are very striking.

Chuck Close would be a hard one to emulate, but you have done it! I wish I could see it up close, but it looks great from here. I can't imagine using three colors in each box, that's too much for me! But you did an excellent job!
