Okay! Now, Thor 2 ranting time!!! Don't read this if you have a life! 8D
It was a pretty good movie ^^ I wish that I could say that it was amazing, top-notch, best of the best, but sadly it wasn't. I realize, though that its mostly because of the way it was edited. I know that the cast and crew had filmed and written so much more than what was actually there in the cinema film, and I'm sad to see that so much was cut out
But besides the shortness of it, it was hilarious! I loved all Loki's sass and the brotherly bantering X3
Loki friggin dying, though made me just sdfljadslfkjadflkad fj I died. Stupid Loki trolling with all the feels.
And I was happy to see Darcy more!! I love that character~ And Algrim...I wish I'd seen more Algrim, because he's also one of my favorites, but no, Loki had to implode-bomb him. XD
Thor was pretty great, too - but I wish I'd have seen some more mourning-sadness on his part because of Frigga and Loki. But oh wells. Maybe in deleted scenes.
Also! There's been some talk about a Director's Cut being put out! I really hope Marvel makes that happen, because it would be so worth it.

I like to imagine if Loki actually does die, Thor won't believe him and starts to shake the body trying to get him to wake up. Only to slowly hold the body close to his, tears coming down as he has truly lost his brother.

I wanna see Loki voluntarily going out of his way to do something good, knowing it will cost his life, and I want Thor to see that, and I want them to have a moment to talk - to figure out their stupid brother problem - Β before Loki finally, really, really does have to go. And then he's gone, and both, though crushed, are somehow okay with how everything turned out because in the last moment, they had a talk, and were good brothers like they were in childhood and trusted each other completely and oh lord my emotions are coming out I have to stopΒ

I'm not reading your rant (because I won't get to see this movie for like a year), but I did read your comic and think it's pretty funny! Hahahahaha!!! I especially love the three panels where Thor is like, "You're not dead!" And Loki is all like, "I can't believe you fell for that!" and then gets the little head tilt with the heart. That body language AND Thor's expression and how it changes are the absolute BEST!! Totally made my night!! Meanwhile, the last panel is pretty hilarious, too! Hahahaha!

hahaha, I haven't seen the first one yet... I saw the Avengers, but I couldn't understand why Loki was so popular... maybe it's because I haven't seen Thor

Haven't watched any of the Thor movies, I'm mainly a Spider-Man, Captain America, and X-Men fan when it comes to Marvel stuff. ^_^Β
And yeah, I know what you mean: draw or homework? Drawing is always more interesting for me (and exciting unless its art homework, which I enjoy), but I gotta do it or else I won't get where I want to go career wise. >_<

That's really cool, I was on here looking at this drawing of yours only about an hour ago (I did other stuff too, I didn't stare at your drawing for an hour just to be sure my comment isn't misread XD), I think and it was 78 views then. Now it's 100. That's really cool!
Have you noticed that fan art in general in DA for some reason gets more views than original cartoon artwork? It bugs me. >_<Β
However...
It makes sense with mangamagazine in having more fans/people interested in original stuff because that's what the site focuses on. DA is more of a mix, but it's still odd that fan art seems to outdo original comic stuff.

That's the one thing I never really liked about DA, XD But I'm glad MM is out there for original manga-ka like us~ If only MM were better known - or possibly, if more people were interested in original artwork. o.o

The most fans and views I've gotten are from my sonic fan art.

I try to spread the word about mm in my college to my friends. There's a bulletin board on my campus that anyone can put job notices and stuff up on it. (Off topic but, there was a writer looking for an artist for a comic collab one time and I replied but it didn't work out). Maybe I'll make an ad for mm, so it can get more publicity. I think I need to ask mm first before doing that though.

Oh ohhhh!! That's a good idea! Do you think that in all the manga in the MM marketplace so far, do you think they have an MM ad somewhere in there? That would be cool. I'd give a page of my manga to spread MM.

It's probably best to ask mm first because public places like schools might not like ads that aren't career related and might complain to the site or something. I'd ask before doing it, both mm (due to use of their name/logo) and the place where you're going to place ad. Although, a way of getting around it without causing any complaints for ads I think, would maybe advertise your own artwork/teaser ad for your webcomic and then mention on it that it can be read on mangamagazine? It'd be a way of publicty for the site and yourself then. ^_^ I am considering of doing something like that when it's time to post one of my original comics.Β
I spoke with a person in charge of my college's literary magazine and the person was very interested in having a comic in their magazine and I would be able to mention the sites more of my work can be seen, if my work gets chosen to be published in the magazine. That's another way to spread the word of mm.Β
Hmm... I should make a blog post about different ways to spread the news of the mm site.
