reason: one month abroad to study japanese. a field trip to different temples in Kyoto. in a word.... stunning, with the caring is in the details.
Kiyomizudera was temple that is beautiful as much as it is imposing. nestled into a massive hillside, it juts out towards the city below, a reminder of tradition and old glory, while being supported on stilts and prayers. it's know for the 'pure water' that rushes down the hillside, believed to carry healing powers or fulfilled wish to anyone who drinks its, but you must catch it first.
eitherway, the view itself is enough to heal a soul.
