I love the way you convey structure and expression entirely through line. The transparency of the hood is a subtle touch. Plus the hood encloses the form of the face nicely. The face and the drawing in general convey very strong character. The composition of the portrait fits the square proportions of the paper in a way that adds to the solidity.
