My HoND gypsy wolfdog OC.Yes, he's a wolfdog. Yes, he's a gypsy.

"Loupgarou" (pronounced loo-gah-roo) is French for 'werewolf'.
Lou's dam was a Belgium Tervuran sheepdog who had pups with a Carpathian wolf. She lived with her owners on their farm in Krakow, Poland at the time.
The Polish family moved shortly afterwards to Chimay, Belgium. It was here that the sheepdog had her pups. The farmer was surprised; he didn't know his dog was pregnant. Had he known the pups were half wolf, he would have drowned them; he assumed she had pups with a neighbor's sheepdog. She had 5 puppies. At the age of 8 weeks, 4 of the puppies were beginning to show great promise as future sheepdogs, plus they looked just like their mother. One of the pups, however, definitely looked different, and it was apparent that this scruffy pup would never make a good sheepdog; he was afraid of the sheep. The farmer had no use for the puppy, so when it came time to bring his sheep to market, he brought the puppy along with him, and placed him in a box; a sign in front of the box read, "Gracieux Caniche"--- "free puppy". Infamous Gypsy leader, MoonFang of the Wolf's-Eye Clan saw the pup, and immediately knew it was a wolfdog. He took the pup home to his daughter, LaRoq. The little girl fell in love with the puppy, and after seeing his gruff, wolf-like appearance, decided to name him after the superstitious French creature of folklore, Loup Garou...werewolf. She calls him Lou for short.
Lou was loyal to LaRoq, and became even more attached to her after the Clan was murdered by Frollo's soldiers. It's after this that Lou and LaRoq leave Belgium and travel to Paris.
LaRoq often likes to play tricks on the local Parisians; getting their attention, then walking behind a large rock or building and having Lou walk out from the other side. Lou seems to enjoy their screams of terror almost as much as LaRoq.
Once LaRoq begins to mingle with the local gypsies, Lou becomes friends with Djali the goat.

Glad you like him and his bio! Very few people actually read the bios that I write, and I really do put just as much (if not, more) effort into writing them as I do into drawing/designing the characters. So I appreciate that someone actually takes the time to read them! ^_^ Thanks for that, too!

I always do. But I uploaded this unusually late last night (it was about 1:00am where I live) so I had forgotten. I definitely would have remembered in the morning. I never take credit for stuff I don't do.
