It starts off so simply. A small issue that escalates and snowballs and swells to epic proportions. The anger, the frustration, the simple hurt you hold back until it comes up in your throat and you choke on it to stop it from erupting and causing even more pain. The accusations, the hurtful statements, the plain cruelty causing that ball to grow larger and larger and harder and harder to hold back and the pain makes its way through your nose and eyes and your ears start to ring and you can't hold it back anymore so you go to your safe place because you won't let them ask why you're crying.
