Micheal Turner, though I never met him in person, had one of the biggest and most profound influences on my life during my High School years. If it wasn't for him, I would've never picked up a comic book or even picked up a pencil with intent to draw.It's truly sad to say that he's gone. I guess it's true, what they say. Only the good die young. He was only 37, but while he was here he made a huge impact.
Here's my sad attempt at drawing Mike with two of the hottest girls he penciled. It looks alot more like him at 2 in the morning.
Michael, you are missed!

I always wondered where people went when they died. maybe they get to visit the places they created for the rest of us to escape to.

I've been told of one theory in which there are other dimensions which are essentially what we've created with stories... but that's just crazy talk from an ex girlfriend to me.

there's actually a book based on that theory somewhere. I think I've read it, but it was so long ago, back when my memories start and my ability to remember is skewed by a basically optimistic view.

I've seen many good sad pics which are really good & respectful but something makes me think a pic like this is the best way to pay tribute (i'm also doing a witch/fathom pic)

Coming from someone who use to talk to mike and trade super hot model stories with. HEHE! He would appreciate what you did. He was always cool with his fans and fellow artist. He always had that smile on his face and kept it till the end and now he smiles from above.

this is for some reason oddly crushing for me.. ive only met him in person a couple of times but i feel like i knew him..and he was a really influential artist for me personally so its like a piece of what created me faded away... excellent work man.. im gonna have to do something for this also.

Hmmm... I'm suck at writing, and I haven't read Witchblade since Keu Cha was the penciler, so I'm not sure if I'd be the best candidate for that. I wouldn't mind proof reading or anything like that though.
Also, I got your e-mail with the POAT bit, and I'll have to re-read it later tonight when I'm not so distraught. You give my characters such fitting voices. Much better than I ever could

I wonder what will happen to his company, Aspen Mlt. I mean, he seemed like the main source of income for them. I hope they find a way to succeed, but I do wonder about these things, y'know?

i have wondered this my self im sure they will still get some income from the statues series that is coming out for Fathom and merchandising hopfully everything will work out for them
