Description
For the boys.Thorin crouched in front of his nephews, struggling to keep his emotions in check.
He stared at the two young dwarves before him, both who looked lost. Their faces completely blank, Thorin had to admit he had expected them to cry. But there seemed to be no tears. They just looked at him.
''Dada?'' Kili looked up at Thorin with large eyes that broke his heart in two. He engulfed the two, gathering them up in his arms, and hugging them close to his chest.
''I'm so sorry.'' He whispered. He felt the shaking of Fili's shoulders as he realized the young dwarf sobbed silently into his shoulder, burying his head into his fur. Kili did not return the hug but stood staring at his older brother, confusion and sadness covering his face.
''Fili?'' Thorin closed his eyes, the unbearable silence from his oldest nephew as he struggled to stop crying and be brave for his brother along with the answered confusion from the youngest was too much. Kili just not understanding why his brother was so upset. He tightened his grip around the young ones, wishing to protect their young and innocent souls from the world.
Please, Durin, protect them. I beg you.

I know right! He's such a perfect uncle, like perfect balance between toughening Fili and Kili up but also I think (even if it was rar) he would have his more emotion driven moments, this one included. when he wishes he doesn't have to toughten them up-- aaa i just love them C:

Aw thanks, I just learnt them and dear lord it's so fun to use them <33 I just go round writing runes on things (mostly my hand, it makes notes like 'remember maths' look so much more awesome
