Okay so I got a bit of help from people on mlp reddit and took peoples advice and tried to work with this the best I can
What I had changed:
I changed the focal point of the picture, making the focus more on Nightmare Moon, I thought this was more appropriate in the image to show that she is the strong figure in the image, showing her as the dominant winner. I fixed Chrysalis's mane, someone mentioned that I made the mane a bit too.. lively, when chrysalis has more stringy flat hair. I also fixed her body a bit, making her a tiny bit thicker through her stomach. Added more shadow over Chrysalis, someone mentioned she seemd to be a bit too flat with the image, I added a shadow from Nightmare Moon over her, to try and make her blend into the scene a bit better, also trying to make sense of the lighting source of the glowing pods in the background. Added slight texture to Nightmare Moons armor, making it not look so smooth, but giving it a rougher look to it.If anyone wants to see the original version, it can be seen here

Well this about dang near murdered me...
Around 50 layers or so and about a week from start to finish (not working constantly on it)
But yes >:3 in MY world Nightmare Moon would win against Chrysalis easily. Why? Nightmare Moon along with Discord needed the elements to be defeated.
However, Chrysalis just need to be stopped by two ponies doing magic, with the power of "love"
Also, Corruption in the mind is something that is hard to win against, sure Chrysalis may be a dark evil character, but she is just like that... once corrupted, you have no idea the limits of power you truely have. Muhahahaa
And yes that is Nightmare Moon wearing the bones, and shells left of the deceased changelings, what better way to destroy and intimidate your enemy then to wear the carcass left of your own army and children.
Anyways.
Any Chrysalis fans do not take offense to this please. It was not meant to bash her in any kind of way. If you have a problem with this image, go ahead and leave your comment, but I will just hide it d:

I agree with this picture. The changelings are implied to be rather weak without love so Chrysalis in a fair fight would lose. However, if this is the Chrysalis that fed off of Shining Armor's love, then Chrysalis stomps. Nightmare Moon was a bit more powerful than Celestia, slightly superior but they were effectively still rivals. Chrysalis on Shining Armor's love one-shotted Celestia.Β

Indeed it won't. I was originally going to write that Nightmare Moon intends to use the powerless Queen Chrysalis as her personal PLAYTHING for all eternity (and all the horrific implications that comes along with it. And that pales in comparison to what she plans to do to Celestia, Luna and the Mane Six in my headcanon), for daring to usurp her place as the queen who would defeat Celestia and rule Equestria, but I consider it too horrifying and so wrote in trophy instead.

Chyrsalis: "Do you.. *(cough)* think you can take the reins of my Changelings that easily, even after after defeating me? You brain-addled excuse for a demon, we Changelings may... *(wheezes)*...resemble common insects, but we are not mindless drones! Like any being, they will resist, they will flee, they will seek help...but my Changelings will not simply bow down to you!
*[Coughing fit, then:]*
Chyrsalis: "And, you claim that you are not the shadow of the little Princess? HA! *(laughs and hacks a cough at the same time)* ...you only came into being because the young Luna's emotions ran away from her, giving you, some formless celestial flotsam, an opening to toy with her mind! You say I am nothing by comparison? That makes two of us!" *(Horrific wheezing, struggles to stay awake)* "Heh..you are nothing but a perversion of a higher being; a product of one overgroan foal's jealousy and the manipulations of a third-rate evil spirit--I am a natural-born Changeling, concieved and raised from the beginning; I am TRULY ALIVE! But, you? You are nothing more than...dark thoughts, given false flesh. You are but a nightmare...and dead or alive, I. Am. Real. And no matter what you inflict--on me, Celestia, the elements; whatever--will ever change that."
*[sneers/smiles with half-lidded eyes--she's clearly on her last legs. With her last bit of strength, barely above a whisper:]*
"And food for thought: what happens to you, the so-called "Nightmare"...when Luna wakes up?"
*(slumps to the ground, dead...a smirk on her face)*

(Not to mention the fact that Nightmare Moon is being a hypocrite by stealing Chrysalis' army and kingdom, so she could force ponies to LOVE her, and for all her power she still managed to be beaten by mortals, and delusional in believing that she is the real ruler of the Night when it's really Luna's)

[Well, I figured Chyrsalis was on her last legs anyway, so I thought she'd have jusat enough strength to trash-talk NMM one last time; a "spit in their eye" sort of thing. And I liked the idea of taunting Nightmare by evoking Luna. 
[Plus, I wanted to do some writing-reversal: my omakes on "Defeated Chyrsalis" art usually has her reduced to pleading and begging, so I thought I'd change it up. Though methinks Nightmare is going to have a...ahem; tempermental reaction to Chyrsalis' speech. Evac of the surrounding area would be a good idea.]

Β Nightmare Moon screamed in fury at the slight against her pride and let off a huge magic pulse, destroying everything within a mile radius as white ight turned everything to ash. Even in the midst of the wasteland, Nightmare Moon's fury wasn't satisfied. She wanted all to grovel before her, not to give her any resistance! At least it would be fun seeing Twilight and her friends reduced to dust underneath her hooves. As the beastly creature began to fly off, a ball of red energy slammed into her back and knocked the Dark Monarch flat.Β
"Who dares?!" the black alicorn shrieked as she looked about wildly for an assailant.Β
"Over here, weakling" a mocking voice called from above. Nightmare Moon tilted her head up to see the oddest sight, an army of bipedal creatures with wings sprouting from their backs. Their leader and the one who had mocked her was twice the size of her soldiers and had a huge firey mane. Nightmare Moon stepped a back a little as she saw the dark magic leaking from the beast's eye. Dark magic? None used that unless they wanted to lose their minds.Β
"If you apologize and kneel I might let you join me" Nightmare growled, getting back her bravery and beginning to flare her magic aura.Β
"Haha, how cute" the beast mocked. "I am Sunset Shimmer and I have the same thing that defeated you on my head" Sunset Shimmer laughed as she pointed out the tiara of magic on her head.
"You killed the Elements?! They were mine!" Nightmare Moon roared before firing off the same blast that had killed Chrysalis. Sunset simply batted the blast away with a single clawed arm without a bit of strain.Β
"I won't waste time with you. Snips, Snails, take her down" Sunset commanded and two imps, one blue and one orange, rushed towards the ebony alicorn

The two imps screeched as they charged Nightmare Moon. Nightmare laughed and put up a weak shield, expecting Snips and Snails to bounce off. Instead, they burst through the weak shield and slammed into the black horse. Nightmare righted herself quickly and gasped in shock. The hit hadn't been too painful but still, they had made her feel pain. She threw off two blasts in their direction with a scream and waited for them to die. Snips dodged the blast while Snails charged in for close combat. Nightmare threw a punch and was surprised when Snails actually blocked the blow. While Nightmare attempted to get over her shock, Snips hammerfisted her from above and sent her to the floor.Β
"Pitiful, falling to my minions" Sunset snorted as Nightmare was caught in between two punches and sent flying. While the alicorn was superior to them individually, as a team they were tougher than expected. Still, nothing to be concerned about

Nightmare Moon finally shot a bolt of magic through Snips' chest before whipping around and breaking Snails' neck. Nightmare dusted herself off, annoyed that she had been troubled by two goons.Β
"Well, well you took them out. Oh well, they're expendable" Sunset said as she landed in front of Nightmare Moon. The demon's eyes began to spin rapidly and the black alicorn began to feel odd.
"You won't control me!" Nightmare Moon yelled before freeing her mind of the creature's influence

I know people thinks: "No! Chrysalis!" or "Yes! Finish it Nightmare Moon!" But remember that this is no real fight. This is just art. And there is not even a fight between those meanies in the TV series ether! So, It does not matter what happens, no one will win if not the artist desires to draw another picture when someone won.

Considering that Chrysalis rely on her army and love buff to fight, Nightmare Moon have advantage in power.
So yea, in duel Nightmare Moon will win easy, but with love buff or changeling army asssit, the role will be reversed.
