And yet another gift! This one's for . Consider it a thank you for all your nice comments and praise. You rock, don't you deny it!
The idea behind this was something Christmassy with Kagura....but there wasn't really that much I could think of. And the mistletoe thing has been used sooooo many times by soooo many people, that I really didn't want to do that. So I figured how Kagura's Christmas would be and then I realised she would have a very lonesome christmas. Think of it, she is being held captive by Naraku and all alone (I wouldn't call Kanna much of company), so all she probably can do is wish for better times.

This is beautiful. Thanks so much! Of course, I'm more of a Kagura fan now than ever, and love her development in the manga (except for the events of chapter 374). I do thank you for this. She looks so peaceful and almost wistful. Great job on this.
Oh, and I envy your ability to do backgrounds. I've been relying on screencaps and other's art for that. One of these days I'll have to learn how to do decent backgrounds.

I'm also a big Kagura fan, mostly thanks to you. But she is a really kick ass character.
Backgrounds aren't really that hard. I've struggled with them too, and sometimes still do, but I think the trick is patience. Take the time to paint every detail. Use references if you have to. And maybe even more important: save and shut down before losing your temper

You have natural art talent, though, and I don't. Plus, I can't help but feel that I can do twice as many pieces if I save time on the backgrounds. I've resorted to screencaps on a few, although I will be making my first complete background this week. I have one unfinished piece in my gallery that I'd like to finish (I won't be able to post the uncensored version here on DA - that will go up on SA and my IYED-Art group at Yahoo).
You should join the Kagura club here on DA - - they can always use more fanart for their gallery, and you've done a couple of really great ones.
