Description I thought I would be nice and redo emma because certain deviants ( and ), pointed out that she lacked eyes. So, now she doesn't. Once again a nice result, hope you agree.

This is based off of a photograph, I do not take credit for the design nor source photo.

lovely! Did you trace a photo by any chance? I find the left (her left) eye a little spooky, needs a tad more eyelid cast shadow I think.

All in all, better than what I could achieve so hats off to you my friend

Thank you! Yeah I'm fairly certain that's what I did. Honestly it was so long ago I forget. Well, this was the best possible result yielded from the photo without breaking up the tones too much. Because you need to be able to bridge floating bits etc.

Much appreciate the feedback my man

hehe, just a moment ago i was commenting on the other one that she had a dead look. and here it is.

still, i have one thing to say, which is that on her right eye, there's no spark, which again causes a somewhat dead look. and the whole right eye looks blurred compared to the left one.

please don't think i'm not impressed with your work. i am more than impressed actually. all these ramblings are the keep myself from drooling

Hah! Well just a moment ago I was replying to the first one . But nonetheless, you are right, and whether you are impressed or not, I really appreciate the comment all the same. Unfortunately I found it hard to gain a lot of detail and being able to create a stencil that kept together as one piece. It was fairly difficult to keep this one together, yet it's all part of learning eh? A hug for the fave though!

what better way than trying when one is wont to learn?

both these works show a great potential you have, if not experienced skill. thus, i think i'll keep an eye on you

I was looking through your gallery and I think the stencils are a very interesting media. would you mind sharing a few details of how you do them, in general? what type of material do you cut the stencil out of, what sort of background do you paint them onto(like, wood, paper, walls?)what type of paint do you use? what tools do you use to cut them out? what do you use to hold them in place while you paint?how big are they?

I am more than happy to share with you . Although my methods are very unorthodox, so you should check out these websites I'll give you. I'm still quite inexperienced, so it's best not to take my example hehe. These sites should give you a good idea as to what materials you ought to use, and the methods involved. Hope this helps! .
