I do recommend you do read the books. Little short for my liking, didn't want it to end, but that doesn't say much haha i find i dislike the fact books have to end somehow so i may never finish one i really like.
I watched the movie before the books, can't believe i overlooked it. Always a good thing when a movie doesn't match the books perfectly, gives you a second adventure. Anyhow, I hope you do read the books and enjoy them
