Wyn ( belongs to Cydnee-B )
Description:
A positive, adventurous, yet naïve prince with the power to heal wounds and illnesses (excluding reviving the dead). He wears his heart on his sleeve and trusts everyone he meets until proven guilty, but even then bears no ill will towards them. He always needs protection from his lion knight because he is targeted by witches who want to steal his powers. One of his dreams is to be treated like a normal being and an adult instead of a sought after item. ( Toyhou.se)

Aster ( belongs to myneea )
Description:
He’s the prince’s personal knight, living to protect Wyn from all harm.
Usually he seems rather dull and lacks emotion but irritation and anger sometimes, only towards the bunny he’s affectionate and caring. If he’s talking to others, he’s polite but also very wary and suspiciously. He’s fast to draw his sword whenever he feels someone is dangerous for Wyn and wouldn’t hesitate killing them, if the prince wouldn’t hold him back. ( Toyhou.se)

The Lore/Plot
They exist in a magical medieval world where there are no humans, just anthros/kemonomimi, powerful magic, and monsters. Wyn is a prince gifted with a power of healing which is only unique to him. Because of this, he is also called the oracle and is trapped in his own heavily guarded castle by his overbearing father who is fearful of enemy countries or witches taking Wyn. One day, Wyn devised a plan to escape his castle unseen and wandered off to help the sick people in neighboring towns. Aster, his faithful guard and best friend, caught wind of his plan and went to track him down. Before they could return home, Wyn had accepted an old wizard’s plea to help his granddaughter who was terribly ill due to a curse from a witch that only the oracle could undo. With the wizard’s magic, they were teleported thousands of miles to his granddaughter and she was healed by Wyn. All she needed now was a night’s rest and Aster and Wyn stayed in an Inn so Wyn could also recover from exhausting himself. However the following day, the wizard was killed by a witch and the granddaughter was supposedly kidnapped so they couldn’t return to their own kingdom using teleportation. They had no choice but to start a long journey home on their own but Wyn is determined to rescue the granddaughter from the evil witch.

Rules
You can use any art medium you prefer (computer, paints, pencils, clay, etc…) and draw them however you want (colored, black n white, chibis, pixels, animated, 3D ect...)
Entries have to include both Wyn and Aster with the focus on them.
Be respectful of other contestants and judges.
Don’t trace, copy, or use other people’s art for your entry. This includes bases.
No entries over the PG-13 rating.If you have questions about this, don’t hesitate to ask.
You may draw the characters with different outfits as long as it abides by the pg 13 rule.
Mention this journal in the description of each of your entries or they will not count.
Each entry must be submitted to deviantart as a deviation. No Sta.sh submissions.
Entries must be done after the date this journal is posted.
You are allowed to submit as many entries as you want, but you can only win one prize placement. (Ex: if you win second place, you cannot win third or first place with your other entries)
You are allowed to watermark your work on dA but if you do so, we request an unwatermarked version through Sta.sh via note. Small non-obstructing signatures are fine.

The Judges

We’ll judge based on effort, creativity, skill and how well you grasp their personality.
Effort - We will compare your entry to your other art in your gallery. Is it colored? Shaded? Does it look clean? You will get high marks if your entry is seen to be one of your better pieces, because you took your time and dedication to make it look finished.
Creativity - We will compare your entry to the other entries in this contest to see if it has an interesting concept. It could be the content of the piece or the medium used to craft the piece all while grabbing our character’s personalities well.
Skill - Least important of the three, but not ignored. If your art style is pleasing to us, you will get high marks. However, to avoid the ‘they won because they’re popular’ excuse or what have you, we won’t make this our deciding factor for our winners in an attempt to make this as fair as possible.
