WOAAAAH, Mother art!!! Happy birthday, Mother Series!!! I've only played Earthbound so far but I already know that the other two games are amazing. I haven't drawn Earthbound art in foreverrrrr, and I'm thinking of replaying Earthbound again(aka getting into the Earthbound phase) or playing Earthbound Beginnings. I feel bad that I couldn't do something bigger for the series's 30th anniversary. I didn't have enough time to do anything and my big project from before was already deleted so.....I literally just made this today . Well anyways, Happy b-day again, Mother series, and I hope the new Earthbound survey gives us fans something goooood.Related content

i suggest playing earthbound beginnings next! it's really good of course, but you can avoid getting stuff spoiled too since the people around here don't really warn for them

and for good reason! it's always sad to me to hear when other people say they skipped the first game, it's just as great as the rest!
i don't know if you've already heard this somewhere but the gameplay is way rougher than earthbound (as was commonplace at the time) and there are a few different translations of earthbound beginnings, as well as options to ease the difficulty. i see it as plenty of ways to enjoy the experience

I just started playing Earthbound Beginnings yesterday and I can see how it's way rougher than Earthbound. I already died like five times XD so that ease option is definitely good news for me

oh wow that was fast! are you playing it from the virtual console? i wish the option was available on there to make it easier, i had to play a modded version to finish it in a reasonable amount of time!

Yah, I got the game on the virtual console so I could play it. I've been binge playing it ever since XD. It's okay about the ease option tho bc I got used to the difficulty and I got Lloyd to help me now!

it's always good to support official releases! i only have earthbound on vc but i have my eye on earthbound beginnings in case i want to play it the way it was originally. at least the english version has the run button! a lot of folks don't take well to the difficulty so i'm glad you're having fun, it's my favorite game from the series heheh

OH yees. I just discovered the run button. It's super helpful and also funny bc Ninten looks like he's going too fast every time. I don't mind difficulties as long as the game is interesting and from what I've seen in the fandom, it's WORTH IT. Thx for suggesting it to me!
