PS. Shooting blindfolded and stranded is somewhat of a challenge. I probably need to invest in a remote shutter release. Meanwhile it's a gruelling race between me and my 5-seconds delay self-timer

Sorry if I didn't answer you before.. What rendered quality? Are you talking about texture? I use sharp at least 7-10 times, applying it stepwise starting from large radius. I first apply it to raw file and then keep sharping as I decrease the image size.
Dreads are....living their own life, I guess. Don't have much control over them

5 secs is really really short!! i thought most cams have either 2secs or 10secs of lag.

lol .. 5 sec delay
... i did some shots with a slow flash cam (didn' know how to operate the 10 sec delay) that gave me about 1 sec to jump backwards into the desired position.. i actually got some good shots that way.
anyhoo... i think this one is one of your best as far as digitally drawing... any chance for a tutorial?
