Because of the photos, bandage around the head I get the feeling you are trying to portray some old madness in the victorian era. I like it, the look on her face is very realistic.

Your face looks so very young and innocent like a child. Despite the bruises and contortion of your face, you are beautiful with an eerie...aura [not sure if that's the proper word].

this portriat almost made me cry when I glanced at it earlier..
than again almost every emotional photo that I've ran into today had that effect on me, everything just seems so awkward and alienating, especially this..

I must completely agree with natashalyonne. Yor self portraits are so beautiful and I think it's because you don't portray yourself as society's 'beautiful', if that makes any sense. You really have a lot of feeling in your images. I love your work. ^~*

the thing i admire the most about you as an artist is the fact that you aren't afraid to be seen as *ugly* (in an artistic kind of way but ... ) in your art. most ppl (especially women of course and i think i don't exclude me) want to show off their best sides. their brightest smile, most flawless skin etc. you show sth different. and i -hope- to be able to create such thing some day, too.
i especially like the red under your eyes and the thing you put in your mouth... you looks so ...ill. in a very interesting and provocing way. the dress looks old fashioned. i like the 20ies look about it

this one is so colored and soft comparing with ohter works of you...but is so impressive how it keeps your style.
the fact of this one looks softer despite the hard theme and concept is just an extra for the apreciation I already have about your work.
