I hereby welcome a new mythical creature to my gallery!I felt the need to get some frustration out of the way and wanted to draw something quick. mess around a little.
Since I didn't have a single dragon in my gallery (even though I love them), my friend Eos suggested I'd draw a dragon.
The last time I drew a dragon was about 4 years ago... and it wasn't too pretty... So this one could very well be counted as my first real attempt on dragons ^^
My knowledge of dragon is near zero so I'm more than happy with the way this dragon turned out!
Took me a little over 4 hours to draw this drakie
It has no wings, is strong and swift, has nasty claws and a nice hammer like tail to beat up whichever comes in his way. I imagined him climbing rocky surfaces.
EDIT: I just realized I did actually have dragons in my gallery xD and it was a drawing made 2 years ago, oops!
Seems it didn't make much impact on me (or my friend) then, as he didn't see it and I completely forgot hahaha xD at least this one looks more like a dragon..

The body looks like the one from the Komodo dragon (a real world reptile) but the details, like the spikes, are from fictional dragons.

yay! thanks ^^ didn't really use a reference for this, and I guess I unintentionally tapped information and references from the salamanders and other reptiles I've seen in my life, which is probably why it looked more salamander like than a static dragon (which would also have wings).... xD
