Description Little inking I made during my winter holiday in France. I didn't have fancy tools with me, but I liked this little thing, so I decided to upload it

0FT0 It looks very close to dragonology's (the book) illustration of wyverns.

Really? I guess that's a good thing, I've always really liked the illustrations in those books ^^ It wasn't intentional, haha.

Ugh. Me too, but I usually get too lazy to do much more than the lineart and a bit of hatching.

Thanks, glad you like it! France was great. The weather wasn't too good, so we couldn't ski every day, but I went with a lovely group of people, so we had lots of fun nevertheless

Thanks, I'm glad you do It was just a little somthing I did on vacation; messy crosshatching X) It would have been a bit neater if I had done it at home.

I like corsshatching I just lack the ability to grasp the concept of light source.. I just kinda go all over the place x,x

Haha, well, part of the fun is that you can play with reality a bit when drawing Making something look good can be even more important than being realistic! My lighting is kind of off on the wing arm closest to use, for example; it should be darker because the membrane is in front of it and would block off the light. But in this black and white picture, that would make it stand out less, which would throw off the balance.

I definitely see what you mean. It still looks really realistic especially if you don't dwell on it too long.
