Description Watercolour on Illlustration board. This is my first real dabbling into the painted mediums, so bear with me while I attempt to get better.

I started with the line drawing, and then added the coloured ribbons that you see which go around the dancer's body. Then things happened that I didn't like, and I tried to fix it, thought I completely ruined it, and salvaged it in the end using completely unorthodox methods. I like it so much I'm going to do more of them, tonight if I can.

This is very clearly an expressionistic view of a dancer. I love to dance, I feel that it has colours of its own, so I am merely showing all of you that.

After I get tired of playing with watercolour, I may move on to acrylic or oil, but for now I'm having fun with this particular medium. It's very loose and expressive, which is the absolute perfect medium for this series.

Please be sure to check back for the other parts of this series!
