EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH for the Daily Deviation! I started out this Inktober with serious doubts about how well it was going to go, and even this specific piece was rushed so I didn't have a ton of confidence in it...It's the surprises like this that keep me going even in those moments of doubt. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you all!

I was so close to having a "comfortable" amount of time to work on this one similar to yesterday...and then I got caught up in a conversation with my mom that took infinitely longer than expected, and then the cats decided to cause a little chaos

So once again, speedrun:
Bouquet usually = flowers
Per Google, Bouquet can also = compliments (I was surprised too)
Bouquets are most often associated with relationships/person A giving one to person B
There are at least two poems lurking around my dA favorites that say something about roses in plastic or under glass, etc. I don't think they were written by the same person and the overall tones are different, but the imagery with the "flowers can't breathe" was very similar and I like it
One of my first thoughts, once I had the magnets staring me in the face, was "plastic-wrapped garden"

Combine with that I was having a difficult time getting the alcohol inks to do exactly what I wanted earlier today. This was the final attempt of roughly 4 "bouquet" backgrounds and one "do whatever you want if you won't listen to me." I did end up with three I considered "salvageable," this one just won out because it felt a little more obvious it was supposed to be flowers, sort of. The others I will almost 100% recycle for future days.

It's both kind of a shame and maybe also a good thing I don't have time to wax poetic about this one as much as I want, because I do really like it even though it was sort of haphazardly thrown together. Which I guess is an unintentional perk of not really having time to think about it.

Really, seriously though, I am going to do my level best to get a headstart on tomorrow's since it's one of those "classic" Inktober words that probably suits normal art just fine but is definitely going to be trickier for me and the magnets to tackle. Wish us luck...
