I love the composition of this, how you have the lighter and warmer values nested within the darker surrounding values. And you did it in watercolor! If i tried that in watercolor, i am afraid it would all turn to mud!

Well,this work I made with pleasure. I win a ward of watercolor in a competion,many years ago.
But watercolors is easy to paint,you must be try,you will fall in love about this medium.
A secret: I don't use black paint, I use a combination of opposite colors to get darks. If you use black paint you will get muddy watercolor.

Obrigada!Não uso pigmento preto, o escuro é feito com a mistura de cores complementares e adjacentes. No caso,verde Verde esmeralda, Dioxazine purple e alizarim crimson.Que bom que gostou,também gosto desta peça.

cores complementares! ah tah! Mesmo assim deve ser um pouco trabalhoso cobrir em toda uma Ñrea 2 cores sem deixar escapar um espaço ( q nesse caso iria ficar só verde ou roxo ).
