Description
This life of mine is wholly my own.
It is possible to feel in control
if I sieze it.

So many lives have been lived.
So many struggles
So many loves
So many conquests
So many collaborations
So many betrayals
and why?
For what?

Looking back into the history of life itself
in connection to what I see before me
it is clear that existence has vast variety,
and is as well so fleeting.

All will have it's time in the sun
and then be gone.

Wealth and lineage will wax and wane.
Shift, grow, and waste away.

What does this mean for me?

That I can be myself outside the bounds
of some immature sense
of cosmic stability and justice.

To accept the states of growth and decay.

That what happens will come,
and sometimes,
there is not much I could do
to stand in it's way.

There is really not much that seperates us.

We are where we are
because of an extreme amount of things
that were completely out of our control.

Not everything is my fault.
Not everything is my responsibility.

Life is what it is.

And I am here to experience
my short time in the sun.
