Ise-no-kami is actually really useful early on, and is a good deal stronger than anything you can by in the shops until you reach Yulyana, as its essentially a Mythril sword with slightly better attack and a chance to crit.Β

Actually, Kamiizumi uses the Kotetsu, the second-strongest buyable katana in the main story.

I certainly have been enjoying Bravely Default, but a good part of my time with the game is leveling up
I'm not sure about Monster Hunter, I think it would be good if you have someone to play it with

It's obvious they won't give you powerful gear at the start (unless you are meant to take a tutorial and/or lose it little after ward) But I couldn't help feel that THAT little "finnest" was a bit overratedΒ

True, and yeah. Calling it their 'finest' craftsmanship is a huge exaggeration of the quality of the lade, which is sub-par if not mediocre. XD
