Description COMICS: Mary Turner/Strix (Age: 20/30s; height: N/A): Mary's family was killed in an explosion during World War II, leaving Mary disfigured. She was picked up by Haly's Circus, working as a talented aerialist. She would later be recruited by the Court of Owls and became an assassin.

ARROW: Mary Turner/Strix (Age: 30s; height: 5'5"): Like in the comics, Mary's family was killed in an explosion, and she would go on to work as a skillful aerialist. When she turned 24, she was recruited by an organization of deadly assassins known as the Court of Owls, and formally trained as a weapon. When Evelyn Crawford, the Starling (STARLING: myths-of-genesis.deviantart.co…), escapes containment, the Court sends Strix out to seemingly stop and apprehend her. Strix is the catalyst to a Birds of Prey spin-off, actually following an order to recruit the Black Canary (Laurel Lance) and Starling.

Lyndie Greenwood (Age: 32; height: 5'5"; credits: Sleepy Hollow, Nikita): This choice was inspired by her performance in Sleepy Hollow, where she portrays Jenny Mills. She gives an extremely strong, and often badass, performance. She is trained in martial arts and dance in real life, and in the show, is trained in combat. I also enjoy her take on the relationship she shares with Abbie Mills, her sister in the show, seeing as in Birds of Prey, female relationships and partnerships, are a large, paramount them to the potential spin-off. Lyndie could easily handle the dramatic aspect, as well as the stunt-heavy aspect of this role.

Alright, I can definitely get on board with this pick. And would be interesting to introduce the Court of Owls through Arrow.

Also, sorry that I have not been around much. My computer overheats sometimes, and it makes Safari difficult to use.

Thanks, man!
And as much as I dislike Arrow (most of the time, at least), it could be used in some pretty great ways. It could easily introduce so many new stories to be told.

And no need to apologize. I hope you get it all worked out!

I'll probably need to get a cooling pad for my computer.

Never heard of the actress, although I am familiar with someone of this race being on Nikita. And I will say the Court of Owls is a story that should see the light of day in live-action form. I wouldn't know how it would work on Arrow if Batman wasn't involved, but your take wouldn't be anything I'd be against.

She played Sonya, introduced in season 2. She started out with a really small part.

And I was definitely hesitant about bringing in the Court of Owls because of the lack of Batman, but decided it could be a great introduction to something that might never be seen on screen. It also helped so I wouldn't have to use an organization already known in Arrow, which would help even out any redundancy. I'm glad you're okay with this idea!
