Maya Lopez/Echo (Age: 30s; height: 5'9"): Echo is one of a very few deaf superheroes, as well as being of native American descent. She is the one-time lover of Daredevil and the first person to take the guise of Ronin. She has served as an Avenger and was a one time killer for the Kingpin.

Julia Jones (Age: 34; height: 5'8"; credits: Longmire, Jonah Hex, Winter in the Blood, The Twilight Series): With Echo being one of my favorites, and one of Daredevil's more popular lovers and allies, I needed to throw her in for casting. Though Julia hasn't had many starring roles, she has, especially recently, shown she's got some great acting skills. In Winter in the Blood, she plays a woman who is lost in the world, and her performance was amazing. Her quiet ferocity is what made me think of her for this role, and after seeing her in the latest season of Longmire, which she fucking nailed, I was more than convinced she was perfect. With heavy training, I do think this could be a great breakout role for her. Representation for Native Americans, let alone deaf representation, is hardly ever seen. It would benefit Marvel to have such a character in this universe.
