Helena Bertinelli/Huntress (Age: 30s; height: 5'11"): Helena Bertinelli, born into one of Gotham's mafia families, became a violent vigilante destroying those that had killed her family. Though she has come more closely in line with other superheroes (after joining the Birds of Prey for instance) her methods are still harsher than most. In the New 52, Helena Bertinelli is still Sicilian despite a striking redesign. Helena is also shown to be a secret agent/spy for the organization called Spyral with Dick Grayson as her partner after the events of Forever Evil.

Sofia Boutella (Age: 33; height: 5'5"; credits: Kingsman: The Secret Service, Star Trek Beyond, The Coldest City): I was completely inspired by the New 52's Helena Bertinelli, especially after reading theories about Scott Eastwood possibly being Dick Grayson/Nightwing. I would love to see the Huntress appear in the DCEU, and I felt a fresh direction would be nice for her character. After her redesign to make her look like she was truly Sicilian, I wanted to cast her the same way. Not surprisingly enough, there aren't many known Sicilian actresses, so I felt my old choice for Elektra would work well here. Boutella gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal as Gazelle, a henchwoman with bladed prosthetic legs, showing not only her amazing ability to take on stunt work, but also her acting skills. She has since been cast as the female lead, an alien woman named Jaylah, in Star Trek Beyond, as well as a role in The Coldest City, a spy thriller starring Charlize Theron. She will also portray the villain in Tom Cruise's The Mummy. Her ability to play morally ambiguity on top of her amazing physical work, makes her perfect for a role such as Helena Bertinelli. Give her a great story to follow and this could be one of the most natural roles for her to take on.
