Here is the Ancient Egyptian godddess Bastet
I wanted to give her humanistic and cat features, I think she turned out pretty well

What I love about the Egyptian goddess Bastet is that she is loving and nurturing, but fierce and protective at the same time. She would have to be my favorite, mostly because I love cats ;D and I love a woman who has feminine traits but is still willingly to fight for those she loves, and I see that in Bastet.
I hope I get to see more art of Bastet

I understand your reason at being so hard on yourself as an artist, I am the same way when it comes to writing. If I see a flaw in my writing or if I see a scene that I felt like I could have done better, people still love it the way it is. Sometimes, I think I would prefer constructive criticism because I would like to see the flaws I have to fix, but I guess it is fine if people love the story so much. Someone once said that one of my stories was a "masterpiece", I felt very flattered by that.
But just as that person said my story is a masterpiece, so is your artwork, and I don't think anyone else's opinion is going to change that.

I like the contest version better (which is good because it's more recent, I guess and it mean you improved it a lot) but I think this is a great work for the size! Very detailled (Is that the way it is writen?)
