Description
This is an early beta version of the game i'm making. Im uploading it because i'm not sure how to continue. I want to make the game more fun to play and less boring, but i don't know where to go. Any usefull tips are very welcome. Also, let me know what average FPS is.. I get 30.. but the flash is made to run on 40.Controls:
(Mouse-Click on the movie to focus)
[LEFT] and [RIGHT] = Move the tank
[UP] and [DOWN] = Control the barrel
[SPACE] = Fire main cannon
[CNTRL] = Fire AA-gun.
Suggestions up till now (don't hesitate to give more):
-Roflcopters
-Tuna LMAOnaisse (for health)
-Fuel & Armour powerups

Needs more weapons and what if you could control things other than the tank.

I like it and think its pretty fun to play but as far as improvments id say being able to buy upgrades would make it more immersive and replayable, some kind of a health bar would be handy and a bit more diversity in enemies to stop it from being repetitive but it is a fun game, well done

Yeah I do huh? But where do I get good tank-engine/driving sounds? Same for jet engine sounds, explosion sounds might be easier, but ones that sound nice (not like firecrackers with a 5$ microphone) are hard to find

I found some tank audio somewhere... try altavista's audio search you might find some there

Wow... very nice! I especially like the way you made the tank follow slopes on the ground. That and the original design of the game, of course = P. Actually I didn't find that boring at all, I think it's already more fun than most of the flash games that end up on the internet. The gameplay is functionnal and personnaly i'd suggest that you try to keep it simple, but something that could be fun would be that you could control the velocity of the bullets by holding the spacebar for a more or less long time. Also, destroyable buildings and obstacles perharps?
I get 32 fps here. I also have problems with the framerate of the things I post, which get to look like they're about 24 fps while I set it to 30 = /. Try setting it to like, 50 I guess...
Anyway, very good job. I think it deserves to be part of your regular deviations althought it's unfinished...

hmm. . . well both me and my brother (which he likes tanks) really like it.
maybe nxt time, try to put a target on wut the tank wanna shoot.
i got missed alot trying to hit the planes.
but it's still good

Hah, lovely. I like the little details when a bomb hits and it says "omgbomborz" or something like that. Really nice parody on the horribly stupid and mindless game that is AOL-speak

Oh. I know what you can improve. Powerups like fuel to make the tank go faster or increase the shield or something.
