Description This lovely lady is my cat Desi

It may look to you as if she was posing, but you have no idea how many blurred photos I had to throw away. Makes this lucky shot all the prettier though, if you ask me.

Actually I was waiting all day for this ash cloud to pass (as is most of Europe, thank you Iceland ) so I could shoot some pictures outside. Turns out I could've made my life so much easier by just staying inside to stalk my kittehs

The colour here is just amazing, as well as on Furr .
I've had many a blurred photos trying to capture my kitteh, Turkish . Cats are fickle...

Yeah they're hard to catch on camera in a pretty way! They usually stop looking awesome as soon as you take out your camera

My cat has come to learn that she just needs to sit still or i yell 'GAH! PEARL!'
so now she models for me. shes so smart

Hehe, for every shot you like, there are 10 you hate

I like the way the whiskers are included in the shot, but the composition feels a bit unbalanced to me: methinks it should be square (with more negative space in front of her face) or landscape (again for the same reason). Other than that, the contrast with the colours and focus work pretty well

Yeah I know, but there wasn't much space left (our doormat is there ). And I was just shooting pictures, so I didn't really pay attention to space, just to getting a nice picture
