Explicit title. For my final school's project I need venician inspiration then I familiarize myself with the city
And that is especially a good drive for my gaps in landscape...

Unfortunately I've never went there, I drew that using references. But one day maybe... I'd love too !
It was marker pen on colored paper with water reducible marker (er... I'm not sure that's the correct word for it but I don't know how it called in english).

I don't understand why Venice *chuckles* but oh well...
I saw all the three studies, and uhm...i like this one because of the soft brownish tones...and the people. At the same time, i think the most difficult is...study number 3, with all those intricate shadows and things. Study number 2 leaves me perplexed though. It seems a little empty?
A good work, in the complex.

i love it. it'äs so effectful with the brownish tones and colours, very nice. It's a nic epiece of art, really nice. it's realistic and un-realistic at the same time, very adorable. :bouncy:

This is great, as is your other work. Many of the anime-style artists on deviantart are a bit hackneyed and unoriginal, but you have your own style, and I like it very much.

Oh man, your capture of the life in this pic just makes my imagination run wild. There is so much movement in these peices. I'm very VERY impressed. You've made quite a impression on the rest of us. Congrats on the Daily Deviant.

All three of your studies are well done. What did you use to make them? it looks like water color and conte, but hard to tell with my crappy compter screen.
I'm a bit of an odd duck and for some reason I enjoy studies and sketches more at times then I do finished works. To me, it shows a little of how the artist thinks. And I love these works very much.
There's almost a feeling... like you can almost hear and smell the sights and sounds of the city... even though I have never been there... you capture not only how it looks but feels I think.
I tip my hat to a better artist then myself. May I some day be a fraction as good. Keep up the great work!

Celui-ci est vraiment bien sympathique mon petit sucre d'orge ! Ambiance et trait très sympa. Un petit bémol pour ton reverbère dont on ne sent point trop l'avant-plan et qui manque un soupçon de plongée (et don impression de reverbère 'collé') mais sinon c'est nickel chrome ! J'aimeuh bien ta synthèse du palais du doge ^____^ (et pis ne m'en déplaise, le reverbère au niveau du 'pur' dessin est bien sympa aussi ^_____^

Je vois krèèès krès bien ce que tu veux dire pour le réverbère, et mon plantouillage a surtout été de rallonger (sans faire gaffe, évidemment) l'image dans la hauteur, ce qui donne en plus l'ignoble impression que le pauvre est coupé sur sa base. Faudrait que je revois ça sur le scan au moint en fait...
En fait je me suis mise au stylo feutre direct pour m'empêcher de chipoter et de revenir trente six mille fois sur mes traits et vaya con dios ! Et... ouah !! je suis surprise de voir que ça marche plutôt bien ! Je vais continuer comme ça. L'ennui, c'est que j'ai bien peur que ça ne marche que sur des format rikikis... *petit scarabée lève son regard plein d'interrogations vers le grand maître du genre*
