Description I just decided to try to use acrylic a little more, even out of my scholastic works, and learn something more about techniques, textures, effects and blablabla, so the figure itself is nothing great (well... it's from a picture of Paolo Roversi, so it should be great by itself, but my redition... bleah...), I didn't care for composition or stylization that much, and it looks a little too "classy" for my own taste... but, still... ._.
Just a first experiment, btw, I'll try doing something more soon, I had fun in some ways!

Ps: bad scan, forgive me.

It looks wonderful! But (as a completely personal preference) I prefer acrylic paintings to have a certain 'thickness' to the strokes. This seems a little flat? Could be the scan lol.

The colours are perfect though, and I think you shouldn't be so hard on yourself for the composition. It is lovely!

thank you! ah, I know what you mean, I prefer that kind of strokes too, but I have to find the "courage" to dare a little more with acrylic. I'd like to be more sicure with the medium, so I have to experiment a little more! And yes, the scanner made it a little more flat than the original one, part of the texture went lost too... whatever!XD

Nachan In reply to oniricapaura [2009-05-11 08:37:48 +0000 UTC]

Grazie!
Me incapace.

oniricapaura In reply to Nachan [2009-05-11 21:25:24 +0000 UTC]

Nachan In reply to oniricapaura [2009-05-11 22:30:00 +0000 UTC]

no, mai provata la pomice acrilica, sembra interessante!*_* *sbav* Devo prendermela e provare!
