The physics of this Pokémon actually hold up really well! Since it's immune to Normal, Fighting and Ghost, it won't interact with most forms of matter, and along with being constantly hidden under a curtain, this would allow it to remain in the 'undead' superposition at all times. I like to think of it having a 50-50 chance of briefly appearing only as a ghost or only as a cat during its fainting animation (losing either the 'ghost' parts or the 'cat' parts as it faints).
