Full title: ROCKETPANTS!!!

Made for my boyfriend, Thomas, for his birthday.
Back in the days of old lived King Wailordicus I. He was a benevolent ruler and his people prospered during his reign.
However, the humans above began polluting the seas and he was forced to move his people elsewhere. But no matter where they went, there was always something wrong with the water. Fearing for his people, he decided it was time to move somewhere with no pollution: The Moon. To get there, he had one of his trusted advisers go on land to find a human who could build them such a device. It wasn't long before they found a human girl who was working on a new propulsion system. Wailordicus, in a moment of hope, sent the girl his entire treasurey. But when he asked about the device months later, she claimed to have never received payment. And so, with no money or way of escaping the ocean, he and his people wandered for generations, passing the tale of the deceitful human girl with them.

It wasn't until the rule of Wailordicus LVIII that one young Wailmer decided to venture on land. He wished to find the girl's descendant to find out if she had the design for the device that was to send them to the moon. It took much effort to roll himself across the countryside but he eventually found a girl months later that seemed to dread the emergence of angry Wailmers. And so he held her hostage until she built the device promised to his people. It took weeks of work to build so many devices, but the job was done. The Wailmer took them back to the sea and was named a hero for finding a way to their new home.
And so the young Wailmer was the first to fly to the moon with... ROCKETPANTS!!!

Words cannot even BEGIN to describe this... ._.
But they can try! >:U
Pretty much a long-standing inside joke between the two of us. One which caused me much grief and much hitting of the Thomas, though it was all in fun and play.
I spent more time on this picture than I have anything else and I really hope that shows. I laughed so hard while working on the line art, I just had to stop and walk around for awhile. GOSH this thing is just TOO ABSURD to be as epic as it is! :U
I actually finished this on the 16th, but wanted Thomas to see it first. I haven't heard back from him yet, but I was tired of waiting, so I am posting my watermarked version for all to see... I made signature brushes for this!
Yeah... it's insane. ._.
