Well, I had to do this pic... *pauses, counts* 7 times in total: the sketch, cleanup, outline, tracing, new cleanup, new outline, then the colour. *WHEW!* I decided to try a new style of colouring... I tried a 'soft touch colouring style' with an outline.... compare this to the "peace girl" pic which is without an outline, but is coloured with the 'soft touch'. It's basically a term I came up with because I needed a way of explaining to people what I was doing when I was going to colour a pic... the name suits it b/c Im not pressing hard (durr!!), and something else.. Yay! Ranma 1/2 is my alltime favorite anime series. Although sometimes I could just smack Ranma and Akane upside their stubborn heads. Life's too short to play idiotic games.

I love ryouga! he's my all-time fav... he and ukyo should hook up. Im only on book 15... and I refuse to DL the episodes because I dont like the way that they were drawn. adn teh english voice overs are horrid! I'll stick to the books... if they did the show the same way inu-yasha was done, thent it would be wikked....

Having seen both Japanese and English versions of Ranma 1/2, I don't think they did such a bad job. (I love how they handle the older men in the series Soun, Genma and Happosai). I think it was Ocean Groups' first voice over, so they're entitle to be rough at the beginning.

i suppose... mebbe i should give the english another try one of these days... mebbe when i get a better isp... happosai is the greatest old guy of all time! i find it hilarious how he and shampoo's grandmother (her name escapes me now @.@) look so similar... but when they do flashbacks (at least in the book...) she looks nomar, nda he looks the same, lol

Yeah, i have both the book and the video. They're both pretty close. That was a good episode. Shampoo's great-grandmother's name is Cologne. Takahashi apparently thought it funny to name her Chinese characters after toiletries.

lol... panty hose... thats a prime example... im not up to him yet... but there are soo many interesting names... its almost like dragonball... they are named after food, instruments, or in the rare family case, underware ^^
