I don't know.Minkiesqueak commissioned me to paint Pipsqueak eating spaghetti, which is a thing that he does, apparently , so I watched Luna Eclipsed again, and this is what I came up with. I'm not sure what it means either. Better be good kids, or Nightmare Pinkie will replace your candy with spaghetti.

P: It's not for her. It's for me. So I can get energy and run faster!
Pinkie Pie facehoofed. Luna was beginning to shake from laugher.
PP: Seriously? You could have only to give them to her and flee, you k- Hey! Don't eat while I speak!
P: Mmhmm? You are right. That is.. really silly.
PP: Phew! Glad to hear.
P: I should have put sauce.
Luna couldn't hold anymore and was rolling of laugher on the pedestal.
PP: Aww... Luna. You were supposed to do the statue for tonight.
Luna: Hohohohoho! I.. I.. couldn't... hehehe hold anymore...
PP: See Pip? I told you she couldn't hold all night.
P: Right!
L: What? You did everything so I could laugh?
PP: Yep!
P: Yes.
L: But why?
PP: Well, duh.
P: Because we like you and like you laughing.
L: Why tonight?
PP: Isn't that obvious? It's the only day.. or rather night that you come here out of royal affairs and be yourself.
P: So, we prepared this for you to laugh.
L: I... I don't know what to say.... T-thank you. Thank you so much.
PP: You're welcome. *smiles* Now, what am going to to with all those candies....
L: Give them to him. You are not going to let a colt eat pastas instead of candies on this wonderful and special night, don't you?
PP: I heard you princess. Here, Pips.
P: *gasp* Thanks!
PP: So... now what are you going to do?
L: Well, not question to scare you both now isn't?
PP: Maybe not us... but these ponies over there need a good fright right now!
L: Huzzah! Let's scare these little ones!

Why is Pipsqueak so often associated with spaghetti? Is there a meme that I have missed?

Seems to me it's mostly the result of Minkiesqueak getting everyone he can to draw Pip with noodles. I don't know why, or where that came from originally, but if you look in here , the vast majority are commissions and requests by the squeak himself.
